Biography

Erika Rejka is ceramist, jeweller. After graduating in ceramics, she also completed her studies in drawing and visual arts at Hungarian University of Applied Arts (now MOME), and then obtained her doctorate at MOME, In addition to running her own brand, she currently teaches design the Metropolitan University.
She is a member of the Association of Hungarian Fine and Applied Artists and a board member of the Ceramics and Porcelain Section of the Studio of Young Artists Association. Her works are in Hungarian and international public collections.
Her works have been excited in Hungarian as well as foreign exhibitions, for example: in 2011 at The International Exhibition of Small From Porcelain in Lithuania at the Riga Porcelain Museum, in 2012 at the ArtDeco21 Exhibition at the Museum of Applied Arts, or in 2016 at the exhibition of the Studio of Young Applied Artists Association at the Szombathely Gallery. In 2014, he was awarded a special prize at the 4th Silk Art Triennial. 
Her works fall into three categories: functional objects, jewellery and sculpture, for which the artist typically uses porcelain, aluminium, plexi, glass copper and silver.
